What other people think of you is not your problem

Each person you meet reflects something back to you. Just be aware of what you receive from him or her or them. Don’t react. No matter how someone looks at you; no matter what anyone says to you, you simply smile and gaze at them with a thought of love. Understanding where they are coming from. Never take anything personally. Understand what other people say and do is a reflection of them. It’s a reflection of where they are and where they are coming from. Be proactive as far as humanly possible. It is the awareness itself which has revealed that I have no right to change you or anyone else.

I have the right to let you know what I believe.

I am responsible for what I say. I am not responsible for what you understand. I don’t have to make you happy. That’s not my job, it’s your job to make yourself happy or unhappy.

I have no right to force you to change. It’s your job to change or not to change yourself.

I have no right to try to control you or any other person. It’s not my job to control you or any other person.

I have the right to control myself and change myself.

We need to respect, because with respect we find peace with ourselves and with everybody else.

You must act as you must and I must act as I must, then there is respect for each other; then there is love for each other.

Love is all we need.
